The Cincinnati Bengals will strive for two-straight wins today as they face the Houston Texans. As kickoff nears, each team has released their inactive players list.
Here are the seven players the Bengals will be without today:
- WR Tyler Boyd
- K Randy Bullock
- LB Jordan Evans
- OL B.J. Finney
- OL Alex Redmond
- OL Keaton Sutherland
- LB Logan Wilson
Boyd (concussion), Evans (hamstring), Finney (abdomen), and Wilson (ankle) were all declared out on Friday. Finney has been inactive for most of the season, but the team elevated WR Trenton Irwin and LB Keandre Jones from the practice squad to compensate for the sudden lack of depth at those positions. Alex Erickson is expected to start for Boyd at slot receiver.
Redmond has been a healthy scratch for two-straight weeks as the team rolls out Xavier Su’a-Filo and Quinton Spain at guard again. The offensive line will feature the same five starters for the first time since late October. Bullock remains benched for Austin Siebert, who made two of his three field goals on Monday night against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Here are the inactives for the Texans:
- RB Duke Johnson
- RB C.J. Prosise
- QB Josh McCown
- CB Phillip Gaines
- WR Isaiah Coulter
Johnson (neck) was already declared out. Gaines (knee) was questionable and will also not play.
