The Cincinnati Bengals have announced the following roster moves ahead of their Week 13 game vs. the Miami Dolphins:
- Placed cornerback Tony Brown on injured reserve.
- Elevated wide receiver Stanley Morgan from the practice squad to the active roster for tomorrow’s game at Miami.
Brown, a third-year player, suffered a hamstring injury in last Sunday’s loss to the New York Giants. He has played in 11 games (one start) this season with nine tackles and a pass deflection on defense, plus two tackles on special teams.
Morgan, now in his second season, signed with the Bengals in 2019 as an undrafted free agent out of Nebraska. He’s bounced between the practice squad and active roster since then. He’s caught three career passes for 18 yards while playing primarily on special teams.
As a practice squad player being elevated to the active roster for the game, Morgan automatically will revert to the practice squad on Monday. Cincinnati’s roster now stands at 53 players.
