A lot of chatter is surrounding the Cincinnati Bengals this offseason, but it isn’t all positive. After enduring a franchise-worst (tied) 2-14 season, the media isn’t giving the team a break with a specific anti-Joe-Burrow-to-Cincinnati narrative.
John Sheeran and I took the air on Friday to get some questions in before the weekend. A.J. Green, the state of the offensive line and the possibility of a different veteran quarterback coming in to Cincinnati were topics of conversation.

Questions asked of us this week included:
- Are the Bengals going to ship off Andy Dalton and bring in another veteran signal-caller on a cheaper deal, as they likely bring in Joe Burrow? If not, it leaves a rookie with two second-year guys at the position.
- What is the likelihood that Green stays in Cincinnati beyond a franchise tag deal?
- Is there any validity to the opinion that Green will be more prone to stay in Cincy with Burrow likely coming into the fold?
- Just how much will the offensive line improve with the return of Jonah Williams?
- Some teams have begun shedding contracts off the books in preparation to make moves next month. Why haven’t the Bengals done the same with Cordy Glenn?
