NFL Draft Video Profile: KJ Hamler brings the speed, but what else?

Breaking down KJ Hamler for the 2020 NFL Draft.

KJ Hamler video Draft profile

The Cincinnati Bengals need help at wide receiver, especially when it comes to guys who can threaten deep with John Ross and A.J. Green not reliable due to injury concerns and age in the case of Green.

Penn State’s K.J. Hamler offers that deep threat, but he has concerns with a receiver that is so small. He doesn’t extend for the ball as well as you’d like and can struggle with physicality, but the positives he offers outweigh the negatives.

Here is a look at Hamler’s measureable (he only did the bench press at the Scouting Combine due to injury and did 15 reps):

  • Height: 5’ 9”
  • Weight: 178 lbs
  • Arms: 30 3/4”
  • Hands: 9 3/8”

To see a full draft profile on him, watch the video at the top of the article where you can see a full breakdown of his skills including an in depth look at his strengths and weaknesses with example footage. Thank you, and enjoy! More Draft profile videos will be coming soon!
