Friday is always a fun day for the NFL Draft, and it all began with the Bengals staying put at pick No. 33 and going with wide receiver Tee Higgins. It’s a little poetic that the Bengals went quarterback and receiver almost a decade after they went receiver and quarterback to start their last rebuild.
The Bengals then turned to defense in the form of Wyoming linebacker, Logan Wilson. He’s an active player with a nose for the ball and fills a major need for the team.
How does the OBI crew view the picks? Come find out in our most recent episode for our analysis and reactions, as well as the live playback of the pick announcement of Wilson.
Also on tap:
- Higgins didn’t test well, but how does that affect our view of his potential impact at the NFL level?
- The first three picks were all Pro Football Focus all-stars and some pundits really liked the Wilson pick.
- What are the biggest remaining needs on Day 3 and who are some of the best options?
- Why did the Bengals pass on Zack Baun and Josh Jones at No. 65 overall?
