Bengals sign undrafted CB Isiah Swann

Cincinnati adds an Ivy League alum to their secondary.

It’s not too often you see Dartmouth football players make it into the NFL, even as undrafted free agents.

Cornerback Isiah Swann is this year’s exception. He is signing as a college free agent with the Cincinnati Bengals, per NFL insider Tom Pelissero.

If you like interceptions, Swann is your guy. He leaves Dartmouth as the school’s all-time leader in interceptions and pick-sixes with 17 and four, respectively.

As an Ivy League player, an invitation to the NFL Combine was unlikely for Swann, so we didn’t get to see him test. The COVID-19 outbreak canceled his official pro day, but he was able to get a separate workout and posted some impressive unofficial numbers, including a 4.4 40-yard dash and a 39” vertical.

Swann becomes currently the 10th cornerback on the Bengals’ roster, but he has the athleticism and ball production to make some noise whenever training camp begins.

He may not be fellow Dartmouth alum Reggie Williams, but the Bengals definitely see something in Swann.
