Time has really flown by since the 2020 NFL Draft. Yet, as we continue to lick our wounds from a long holiday weekend, we’re not even at the month of June yet. Cincinnati Bengals football season remains a ways off, but we’re here to continue helping you pass the time.
On the latest edition of the Orange and Black Insider Bengals podcast, co-host John Sheeran planned to go solo, but from the O.G. himself, Anthony Cosenza. We’ll tackle how the reaction would be if the NFL were facing a situation like the MLB currently is with its players, the latest on the onside kick alternative proposal, and the continuation of our 9 for 9 series with a breakdown of the wide receivers.
On this week’s show:
- The MLB is proposing a major pay-cut for its players, based on the schedule being cut significantly. Does that notion make sense if the NFL calendar is also cut, in terms of games?
- There is an NFL rule proposal that essentially eliminates onside kicks. Is it just a further sign of the times that the league is adapting to viewer requests, or is it just another example of the league pushing the envelope?
- The Bengals’ wide receiver group is quite crowded. Is Tee Higgins poised to steal more snaps from John Ross right away?
- What does the future hold for guys like Alex Erickson, Stanley Morgan and 2020 undrafted free agent, Scotty Washington?
