In addition to the 2020 regular-season schedule, the Bengals have announced their entire preseason schedule for next season.

There aren’t typically too many things to get excited over in the preseason, but the Bengals may just have one.

A trip to Kansas City to take on Patrick Mahomes and the reigning Super Bowl Champion Chiefs will be the team’s first preseason appearance. However, it’s seemingly unlikely that Mahomes will play at all in that game.

Following that, they’ll then return home to take on the Vikings, a team that made it through the Wild Card last season, downing the 13-3 Saints. That game will give fans at Paul Brown Stadium the first look of the Bengals.

In the third preseason weekend, they’ll travel to Atlanta. The Falcons aren’t expecting to be overly incredible this season so this will serve as just another tune-up game.

A real test will come when they end the preseason with the Colts, a team they’ll face during the regular season as well. The Colts are the only one of the four teams that they’ll take on in both the regular season and postseason.

Here’s the graphic Cincinnati released just moments after the preseason schedule was announced.

With a new-look roster led by the additions of D.J. Reader, Trae Waynes, Vonn Bell, Tee Higgins and Joe Burrow, the Bengals are expecting to shock the NFL world, one that’s widely still underestimating them in 2020.

While the preseason won’t matter too much when Week 1 starts, solid in-game experience for Burrow and rookies like Tee Higgins and Logan Wilson before the actual showtime will be a good starting point.
