Even though the Bengals had the worst record in football in 2019, the 2020 squad will be much more successful.

The Bengals spent over $100 million in free agency and drafted Joe Burrow first overall. They fixed several of their positions of greatest need. Zac Taylor and the coaching staff has a valuable year of experience under his belt.

Do the Bengals have what it takes to have a winning record in 2020?

There are some details from the Bengals freshly released schedule that might have an impact.

The Bengals have the rare home opener, playing at Paul Brown Stadium at 4:05 p.m. against the Chargers on September 13th.

They then have four days rest for a Thursday night game in Cleveland for Week 2 on September 17th.

The Bengals will have two weeks to prepare for the Steelers in Week 10, since their by is Week 9. The Week 10 game will be in Pittsburgh at 1 p.m.

The second of the Bengals’ two primetime games will be in Cincinnati for Monday Night Football on December 21st.

The Bengals play in Houston on December 27th for Week 16, and will host the Ravens on January 3rd for Week 17.
