Training camp is finally here. It looks quite different from the usual M.O. and fans will be kept at an arm’s length for safety reasons during a pandemic, but the new-look Cincinnati Bengals are taking the field to get ready for the 2020 regular season.
This week, we walk you through the most recent news as all players report for duty, while also talking about the need for a veteran backup quarterback and what the final roster may look like a few weeks from now. We’ll also have a “Soundbite of the Week” and a couple more names for the “2020 Potential Bengals Breakout Players List”.
Here are some specifics from this week’s show:
- Ryan Glasgow is no longer with the Bengals what does this mean for the team’s defensive line—particularly for a guy like Renell Wren?
- The final roster may be a bit more easy to predict this year because of the pandemic forcing the team to stick with players with whom they are very familiar.
- Is 2020 the year that John Ross finally breaks out for a big year?
- In our “Soundbite of the Week”, Hall of Fame personnel man, Bill Polian, believes Joe Burrow is in for a struggle as a rookie.
