D.J. Reader is wasting no time in enduring himself to Cincinnati.
During a Wednesday meeting with the media, the new Bengals defensive tackle gave a nice shout-out to the Cincinnati Reds, who he’s picking to win the 2020 World Series. He also said he’s a big fan of famed local restaurants Sotto and Jeff Ruby’s Steakhouse.

Smart man now living in Cincinnati.
The Reds certainly have some work to do if they want to make the playoffs and compete for a title. In what’s going to be a 60-game regular season, Cincinnati is currently 8-9 and 2.5 games out of a Wild Card spot.
They’ve shown flashes of being a playoff-caliber team, but their bullpen has given away several games already this season. If they can fix that, then there’s certainly potential for the Reds to make some postseason noise come this fall.
If nothing else, the Reds have enough young talent throughout their roster to eventually become a title contender during Reader’s tenure in Cincinnati after he signed a four-year deal worth $53 million.
