The Cincinnati Bengals continue to shore up their defensive line depth.
On Saturday, the team signed free agent defensive end Amani Bledsoe.
Bledsoe, who measures in at 6-4 and 280 pounds, is classified as a first-year player by way of the Oklahoma Sooners. He was originally was a college free agent signee of the Tennessee Titans in 2019. He spent all of last season on the Titans’ practice squad, then was with the team during this offseason before being waived on July 26th.
Bledsoe played three seasons with the Sooners before declaring for the NFL Draft after his junior season (he was actually classified as a senior due to a PED violation that stripped him of a full year of eligibility). He finished his career with 59 tackles, 7.5 tackles for loss, eight pass deflections, and four sacks. He was an All-Big 12 Honorable Mention pick by league coaches following the 2018 season.
God is great!
