Twitter roundup for the Bengals’ first practice with full pads

The offense struggled after an impressive practice Monday.

The Cincinnati Bengals hit the practice field in full pads today for the first time as they prepare for the upcoming 2020-21 season.

Some unfortunate injury news is that nose tackle Renell Wren (leg injury) and receiver A.J. Green (hamstring) were not in pads due to the injuries. However, Green was present at the practice but not in pads and his injury is not believed to be serious.

During Tuesday’s practice, safety Shawn Williams had to be carted off the field after it appeared that he tweaked something.

On the other side of injury news, second-round draft pick Tee Higgins was in pads following his issues with a hamstring injury, though he was held out of team drills.
