Bengals offensive line tries different combinations during Wednesday's training camp practice
Defensive tackle Geno Atkins had personal reasons. Left end Carlos Dunlap missed his second straight practice with what was called a minor injury and was on the rehab field. There was no sign of running back Joe Mixon, who had missed the previous practice with what head coach Zac Taylor called "a minor injury."

Using the top pick in every round and their richest free agency in history, it is obvious on the field and in the locker room they have re-made their team with a talented young quarterback and hard-nosed, experienced and faster players on defense.

Browns claim WR Damion Willis off waivers from the Bengals
Willis was a surprise cut by the Bengals this week. He started Cincinnati’s first two games of 2019 as an undrafted rookie from Troy. In 10 total games, Willis caught nine passes for 82 yards. He did not play in either game between the Browns and Bengals a year ago.

Uzomah started all 16 games, but finished with only 27 catches for 242 yards and two touchdowns, while Sample, who was a second-round pick in the 2019 draft, played only 108 offensive snaps over the first nine games, before suffering an ankle injury that caused him to miss the final seven games. He finished with a scant five receptions for 30 yards.

Bengals embracing adversity in unusual training camp
Training camp in 2020 has been unusual to say the least, but the biggest challenge for Cincinnati Bengals coach Zac Taylor is the constant reshuffling of the schedule to make sure the team accomplishes what it needs in the shortened amount of time before games begin.

Top 3 NFL wide receivers by route: Michael Thomas reigns
The data wizards are back again with another new way to break down some of the game's top weapons. We know the Saints' Michael Thomas and Seahawks' Tyler Lockett are great receivers, but how do they perform on a per-route basis?

Report: New sexual harassment allegations against Washington; Daniel Snyder denies involvement
The Post reported a former cheerleader saying Snyder invited her to a hotel room with one of his friends, and that longtime team executive Larry Michael made extra cheerleading videos for the owner showing sensitive material that wasn't made public. Snyder released a statement denying those specific allegations and saying he was unaware of the incidents until now.

Le'Veon Bell disputes Adam Gase's claim he was pulled from practice as precaution
Gase told reporters Bell is a player who very much dislikes exiting practice and usually needs to be forced out, per the New York Post's Brian Costello, which could explain Bell's displeasure voiced online.

Dallas' CeeDee Lamb among players set to break out
We joke about this every year. Every player is in the best shape of his life; every general manager feels good about the roster additions; every coach likes his team's energy. And this season, with no offseason work and no preseason games, the crystal balls are probably even cloudier than usual.

Dolphins releasing RB Kalen Ballage after two seasons
Ballage, a fourth-round pick in 2018, is coming off a sub-par 2019 in which he played in 12 games with six starts but mustered up only 135 yards with a 1.8 yards-per-carry average. Quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick led the team in rushing.
