The Cincinnati Bengals will kick off their 2020-21 season on September 13th against the Los Angeles Chargers, which doesn’t leave them a ton of time left to get prepared.
However, as the season quickly approaches the team is continuing to hit the practice field to get ready for the upcoming year.
No. 1 overall pick Joe Burrow has been outstanding so far in camp and is gaining the respect and trust of his new teammates not only on the field but off it.
However, today was a lot of special teams work with the QBs working on a side field WRs.
Today’s training camp went on without some key players attending including Carlos Dunlap, Joe Mixon, Bobby Hart, and Carl Lawson (who did work on the rehab field).
Here is how Twitter reacted to today’s training camp:

It doesn’t look like Carlos Dunlap is on the practice field. Joe Mixon isn’t out here for the second straight day. Carl Lawson remains out, but did some work on the rehab field. Bobby Hart is also out today.

On the next rep, Burrow hits Mike Thomas on a corner route for another TD. Thomas did a great job of getting the throw near its apex

Green says he’ll play in one of two remaining scrimmages

A.J. Green, John Ross and Tee Higgins are getting some extra work in with Joe Burrow during special teams drills. They’re walking through different plays. Makes sense, considering all three receivers have missed time during camp pic.twitter.com/dafCjkoFh7

Today's practice has been nearly all special teams. Outside of a few team reps and 7v7, the QBs are working on a side field with John Ross, Tee Higgins and A.J. Green.

ST going to be critical piece to #bengals success ... especially early. OL and ST ... will be the units that suffer the most in this environment IMO. https://t.co/1F5X6CwKzs

All the Bengals touched the line, so I guess that means they're going undefeated this year.
