UPDATE

Xavier Su’a-Filo has been ruled out with an ankle injury.

The Bengals’ offensive line has been a mess vs. the Chargers, and now they have an injured starter to deal with.

Late in the third quarter, starting right guard Xavier Su’a-Filo was forced from the game due to a lower-body injury. He came up gimpy after a Joe Mixon run and had to be assisted to the sideline by trainers.

After briefly being examined, Su’a-Filo walked to the locker room for further examination. Replacing him was Billy Price, who has been working as a backup guard and center this year.

Su’a-Filo was signed to a three-year, $9 million deal this offseason after appearing in 75 career games (53 starts) with the Texans and Cowboys. He spent the last two years in Dallas and finished the 2019 season with a 60.1 Pro Football Focus grade, which actually would have been among the highest marks of any Bengals lineman that season.

We will update this story if any more details come out....
