Bengals vs. Browns Injury Report: Randy Bullock, Sam Hubbard limited

The Randy Bullock mystery thickens.

The only time we’ll receive a Bengals injury report on Monday this season is this week, since the Bengals are playing the Cleveland Browns on Thursday night.

Due to the quick turnaround, most of the players who became injured during Sunday’s loss to the Los Angeles Chargers did not practice today, as well as those who weren’t healthy enough to play in that game.

That includes Geno Aktins (shoulder) and Shawn Williams (calf), as both missed Sunday’s game and may not play on Thursday either.

Mike Daniels (groin) and Xavier Su’a-Filo (ankle) both left Sunday’s game and did not return. Daniels was on last week’s injury report with a groin injury, so it’s possible he simply re-aggravated it on Sunday. Su’a-Filo’s injury is new and just happened on Sunday. Both players may not be ready to go on a short week.

Randy Bullock (calves) said that he hurt one of his calves during his game-tying field goal attempt. Interestingly enough, he’s listed as limited with “calves” instead of just one calf. Bullock should be okay to go for Sunday unless his situation regresses. Sam Hubbard (knee) was also limited but was not seen leaving the field on Sunday with any injury.

LeShaun Sims (personal) missed practice all last week but appears to be back with the team and ready to play. Billy Price (ankle) filled in fine for Su’a-Filo on Sunday and went full on Monday as well.

The Browns did not practice today, but if they did, this is how their injury report would look.

OT Jack Conklin (ankle/finger), and LB Jacob Phillips (knee) would not have practiced after playing on Sunday. CB Kevin Johnson (liver), CB Greedy Williams (shoulder), and LB Mack Wilson (knee) did not play in Sunday’s game and would not have practiced on Monday anyways.

OT Chris Hubbard (ankle) was inactive on Sunday but would’ve been limited on Monday. JC Tretter (knee) was able to play on Sunday after being a game-time decision and would’ve been limited. Jedrick Willis (shin) left Sunday’s game with his injury, but DE Olivier Vernon (abdomen) did not. Nonetheless, the veteran edge rusher is listed on the injury report.
