The Cincinnati Bengals are not off to a great start after Thursday’s 35-30 loss to the Cleveland Browns moved their record to 0-2 this season.
One thing that should have Bengals fans excited was the play of Joe Burrow despite barley having any time to throw the ball.
Burrow finished 37/61 passing for 316-yards and 3 TDs while also rushing 7 times for 19-yards. PFF noted that Burrow had just an average of 2.40 seconds to throw the ball before pressure got to him.
The 61 pass attempts are 2nd most all time by a rookie in a game behind Chris Weinke (63) and his 37 completions were the most in a game by a rookie.
On the other side of the ball, the Bengals’ defense was torched all night against the Browns with a ton of missed tackles and allowing the Browns to rush for 215-yards and 3TDs.
Its obvious that the Bengals’ offensive line needs a lot of work but also it appears that the defense could use some work as well.
With that being said, what do you feel needs to change the most for the Bengals after the first two games of 2020?
