In a rare chance for two of the best 3-techniques to play in the same game, it’s looking more and more like the Bengals and Eagles will both be without their best player on defense.
Starting with the Bengals, Geno Atkins (shoulder) was unable to practice on Thursday. He hasn’t practiced once since the season the team cut its roster down to 53 players before Week 1. Mike Daniels (groin) also did not practice and hasn’t since he re-injured his groin against the Chargers two weeks ago.
Everyone else practiced for Cincinnati though. Carlos Dunlap was back after having a day off on Wednesday, and Brandon Wilson returned after missing Wednesday for personal reasons.
Christian Covington (biceps) and Logan Wilson (thumb) both went full after doing so on Wednesday as well.
The Eagles’ star 3T Fletcher Cox (abdomen) didn’t participate in Thursday’s practice along with Wednesday so he appears to be in the same boat as Atkins and Daniels. S Rudy Ford (groin) has also not practiced this week.
WR Desean Jackson was back at practice after getting a rest day on Wednesday, and WR Alshon Jeffery (foot) was limited after not practicing on Wednesday. RT Lane Johnson (ankle) went full after not practicing on Wednesday as well.
