The Bengals made a somewhat surprising move to declare John Ross inactive for their Week 3 game vs. the Eagles. That meant second-round rookie receiver Tee Higgins would be getting a shot to have a more featured role in the offense, and he’s making the most of it.
In the first half, Higgins hauled in three passes for 25 yards on four targets. That also included the first Joe Burrow - Tee Higgins scoring connection in the NFL.
The rookie connection.

It’s only Game 3, but it certainly looks like Higgins has earned a bigger role in this offense moving forward. Hopefully, this is the first of many scoring hookups between 9 and 85 for the foreseeable future.
