The Cincinnati Bengals and Philadelphia Eagles have each released their inactives list before today’s 1:00 p.m. EST matchup in Philadelphia.
Here are the players the Bengals will be without today:
- DT Geno Atkins
- LB Markus Bailey
- DT Andrew Brown
- WR John Ross
- K Austin Siebert
- HB Trayveon Williams
Only six players had to be inactive for the Bengals today since they’re dressing eight offensive linemen and had 54 players on the active roster. This gives them the 48 active players every team is permitted to have with eight offensive linemen active.
Geno Atkins had already been declared out on Friday as he continues to recover from a shoulder injury. The good news is that Mike Daniels is back in the lineup and will start in his place. Shawn Williams is also active for the first time this season.
WR Auden Tate was a surprise healthy scratch last week against the Cleveland Browns, but this week, John Ross is the inactive receiver. Ross has had a disappointing start to the 2020 season, so his benching isn’t too surprising.
Here are the inactives for the Eagles:
- WR Alshon Jeffery
- WR Jalen Reagor
- S Rudy Ford
- QB Nate Sudfeld
- DE Casey Toohill
- OG Jamon Brown
- RB Jason Huntley
Jeffery, Reagor, and Ford are all out due to injury, so the other four are just healthy scratches.
Fletcher Cox, who was questionable with an abdomen injury, is active.
