The Cincinnati Bengals have signed linebacker Keandre Jones and offensive guard Keaton Sutherland to the practice squad.

Jones (6-3, 220) is a rookie who originally was a college free agent signee of the Chicago Bears in May, and then was waived on Sept. 3. He played in college with the Maryland Terrapins for one year (2019) after beginning his career with the Ohio State Buckeyes (2016-18).

Last year, Jones led Maryland with 15.0 tackles for loss, seven sacks, three forced fumbles and three QB hits in 2019. He also had 74 tackles and was an Honorable Mention All-Big Ten pick.

Sutherland (6-5, 315), a second-year player out of Texas A&M, originally was a college free agent signee of the Bengals in 2019. He was on Cincinnati’s practice squad for the first two games last season, then was elevated to the roster and played in Game 3 before being waived on Sept. 25. He was claimed on waivers by Miami, and went on to play in three games (2 starts) for the Dolphins. He was with Miami all offseason, before being waived at final cuts.
