The Cincinnati Bengals will kick off their 2020 season on Sunday against the Los Angeles Chargers. The game can be seen on CBS at 4:05 pm EST and can be streamed online using fubo TV. You can also listen to it on the Bengals Radio Network.
It’s been what felt like one of the longest offseasons in the history of football. A big part of that was the coronavirus pandemic, which wiped out all offseason workouts and preseason games.
But for Bengals fans, it felt like an eternity waiting for the Joe Burrow era to officially kick off in the Queen City. Our wait comes to an end Sunday when Burrow leads the Bengals against a Chargers team with playoff aspirations.
As mentioned above, there was no preseason, so this will be the first time we see Burrow in live game action in the pros. But while it will be a tall task, he will have a loaded offense to help him thrive against a stingy Chargers defense, including A.J. Green, Tyler Boyd, Joe Mixon, John Ross and Auden Tate.
This game will be part of the NFL’s late afternoon window of three games, so Bengals fans will get to sit back and enjoy the early slate of nine games before the good guys face L.A.
