The Cincinnati Bengals and Green Bay Packers have announced their inactives.

For Cincinnati, here is who will not be playing today.

  • WR Mike Thomas
  • CB Nick McCloud
  • DT Tyler Shelvin
  • OL Fred Johnson
  • DE Darius Hodge

After it was initially reported that Joe Mixon could be out a few weeks with his ankle injury, the veteran running back progressed enough throughout the week to be a surprise active today. My guess is he won’t get his usual heavy workload, but just having him out there for 15ish plays could make a big difference against a solid Packers defense.

All the other Bengals who were questionable to play — Trey Hopkins, Trae Waynes, Larry Ogunjobi and D’Ante Smith — are active today.

For Green Bay, here is who’s out today.

  • CB Rasul Douglas
  • DL Jack Heflin
  • OL Elgton Jenkins
  • OL Josh Myers
  • S Vernon Scott
  • LB Jaylon Smith

Newly-signed linebacker Jaylon Smith, who was just cut by the Dallas Cowboys, is also inactive today.

The big one was left tackle Elgton Jenkins, who was questionable to play but is out, leaving the Packers’ offensive line without two current starters as center Josh Myers is out. Jenkins is actually filling in for David Bakhtiari, who is on PUP while recovering from ACL surgery.
