The Cincinnati Bengals are now 3-2.

Two Evan McPherson missed game-winning field goals will haunt the Bengals this week, especially as Mason Crosby ended the game with two minutes left in overtime on a game-winning 49-yard attempt.

Underdogs for yet another game, the Bengals played Green Bay very well, intercepting Aaron Rodgers in the first quarter. They were gifted a little luck by a Crosby missed field goal late in the fourth quarter.

However, McPherson one-upped that miss, but his miss was at least from 57 yards. Then Crosby missed again to end regulation. There were two more missed field goals in overtime: McPherson’s was 49 yards.

In total, there were five missed field goals and a missed extra point. It was just an absolutely thrilling game for all the wrong reasons.

Now, a 70-yard Ja’Marr Chase touchdown reception did add a spark when remembering prior to the chaotic ending. Mixon also had several good runs. That said, the Bengals lost a very winnable game.

Here are some Twitter instant reactions from their demoralizing loss.
