Logan Wilson becoming a star in Bengals defense

Wilson’s breakout is a big reason for the Bengals’ resurgence on defense.

The Cincinnati Bengals bounced back from their heartbreaking loss to the Green Bay Packers as they dominated the Detroit Lions in a 34-11 win.

It was an outstanding performance for the Bengals’ defense as they held the Lions to just 228 total yards and held them to just five of 14 on third down conversions.

More specifically, it was another great performance from Logan Wilson who finished with six total tackles (five solo), two tackles for loss, and his fourth interception of the year when Vonn Bell ripped the ball away from the Amon-Ra St. Brown and Wilson picked it off.

Wilson has been a key part of the Bengals’ defense all season and analyst Daryl Johnston took notice during the Fox broadcast.

“How about Logan Wilson? The guy is just always around the football. ... He’s just unbelievable.”

You could say that through the first 6 games of the season, Wilson is looking like former Carolina Panthers linebacker Luke Kuechly who had four INTs in a season twice (2013, 2015) and racked up 18 in his career.

Wilson is on his way to having a very special season in Cincinnati.
