The Cincinnati Bengals continue to have most of their 53-man roster good to go as they prepare for the New York Jets.
The only player who hasn’t practiced this week is third-string running back Chris Evans, who was sidelined for a second-straight day with his hamstring injury. If he’s out this week, look for the Bengals to elevate Trayveon Williams off the practice squad for Sunday.
The only other small concern is defensive end Trey Hendrickson was limited for a second-straight day due to a shoulder issue. It’s something he had last week but played through and appeared fine in the win over Baltimore.
As for the Jets, their length injury report remained such Thursday as Zach Wilson, Trevon Wesco, Tevin Coleman and Bryce Huff were all DNPs again. The Jets have already announced backup QB Mike White will start in place of Wilson, while Coleman and Wesco are backups. Huff is a starting defensive end with two sacks, seven QB hits and 10 tackles this season.
Starting linebacker Quincy Williams got in a limited session Thursday after missing Wednesday due to a concussion.
New York’s top wideout, Corey Davis, was limited with a hip issue after not being listed with an injury Wednesday, so this will be something to monitor heading into the weekend.
