Cincinnati Bengals vs. Green Bay Packers

The Cincinnati Bengals will face their toughest test of the season as the Green Bay Packers come to Paul Brown Stadium.

NFL MVP Aaron Rodgers will get the first crack of his career at Cincinnati prodigy Joe Burrow. Per Statmuse, the Bengals have a 7-6 record against the Packers throughout both teams’ extensive history.

The Packers had a rough start to the season, allowing five touchdowns to Jameis Winston and losing in blowout fashion to the New Orleans Saints. However, Green Bay rebounded with convincing wins against the Lions, Steelers and 49ers.

The Bengals also have a disappointing loss, dropping one against the Bears in Chicago. Aside from that, they’ve defeated the Steelers, Vikings, and Jaguars. This may arguably be the biggest game of Burrow’s young career.

A win here should make the Bengals legitimate contenders for the NFL playoffs in the eyes of just about everyone. Tee Higgins and Jessie Bates are practicing and should be expected to play. Star running back Joe Mixon is expected to be out, so we’ll see an extra serving of Samaje Perine and Chris Evans this week.

For the Packers, they could be without star cornerback Jaire Alexander due to a shoulder injury. The Packers’ secondary is already a major question mark week to week, so not having Alexander against a trio of Higgins, Tyler Boyd and Ja’Marr Chase could make for a big day for Burrow and a long one for the Pack.

This will be a game you do not want to miss.
