What can we learn about the Bengals’ needs from watching the Super Bowl?

For this week’s Chalk Talk, I am joined by Ben Grant to talk about the Super Bowl and what takeaways Bengals fans should have. What does it take to get to the big game, and where are the Bengals lacking?

The Chiefs have the best quarterback and tight end in the NFL and a plethora of talented wide receivers including Tyreek Hill, Sammy Watkins, and Mecole Hardman.

The Buccaneers have the best quarterback and tight end of all-time and an even better group of wide receivers including Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, and Antonio Brown.

Do the Bengals have enough weapons for Joe Burrow?

Not only did the Chiefs’ struggle offensive line struggle without their two starting tackles, but the Buccaneers’ offensive line also thrived after adding right tackle Tristan Wirfs in the 2020 NFL Draft. Should the Bengals apply this strategy come draft day?

The Tampa Bay defense is not getting enough credit for how well they played. They had a great game plan, but they also have a very talented group. This includes a lot of players from recent drafts. How can the Bengals get their defense up to snuff?

We’ll talk about all this and more as we evaluate the Super Bowl from the Bengals’ point of view.
