Bengals will not be changing helmet with updated uniforms

The Cincinnati Bengals will be debuting new uniforms soon, but one key part of their attire will not be changing.

Back in January when news first broke that the Bengals were updating their uniforms, Geoff Hobson reported that the helmet would not be changing.

Then on Monday, the Bengals pretty much confirmed that the helmet will stay the same moving forward.

Most NFL teams have at least one alternate helmet design they’ll use a few times per season, so it would be nice to see the Bengals change it up here and there. Heck, it would be cool to break out the old classic helmets the franchise first had once or twice a season.

But as far as the official helmet goes, it’s hard to go wrong with the orange and black stripes.
