Cornerbacks set to hit NFL free agency

There’s going to be some big-time corners hitting the open market in 2021.

When NFL free agency begins, the Cincinnati Bengals are expected to focus on upgrading the offense and building a much improved supporting cast around franchise quarterback Joe Burrow.

However, one position the defense carrying a lot of uncertainty right now is at cornerback. As of now, William Jackson III is set to be one of the top defensive backs to hit free agency this offseason, while Mackensie Alexander should get a lot of attention as well after a solid year in Cincinnati.

LeShaun Sims, who played 57.17% of Cincinnati’s defensive snaps last season, is also set to hit the open market.

In addition, Tony Brown will be a restricted free agent, while Jalen Davis will be an exclusive rights free agent, so neither is a lock to remain with the team.

Now, here is a look at the cornerbacks currently slated to become unrestricted free agents in March (via Over The Cap).
