It would appear JuJu Smith-Schuster is sticking around in the AFC North for at least one more season.
Despite interest from several other teams, Smith-Schuster has instead opted to re-sign with the Pittsburgh Steelers. It’s a one-year deal for $8 million, according to NFL Network reporter Mike Garafolo.
The #Steelers added $500k to their final offer to JuJu Smith-Schuster to push it over the finish line, source says. Went from $7.5 million to $8 million and it got done.

One of the top wide receivers to hit free agency this year, Smith-Schuster is now looking to have a bounceback 2021 season that leads to a bigger payday in 2022 when the NFL will likely significantly increase cap spaces for teams.
After going for over 2,400 receiving yards over his first two seasons, Smith-Schuster had just 552 yards in 2019 while playing without Ben Roethlisberger for most of the season.
This past season, Smith-Schuster caught 97 balls for 831 yards and nine scores. He also got demolished by Vonn Bell during the Cincinnati Bengals’ shocking Week 15 win over the Steelers on Monday Night Football. It was easily one of the best hits of the entire 2020 NFL season, and he’ll think twice about ever dancing on Cincinnati’s field again.
