The Cincinnati Bengals unveiled their new uniforms this morning, and the players took a liking to what they’ll be having to suit up in on a weekly basis.
The hype of the release has been building for weeks with even a few leaks having been tossed around. There are many clean fits, including an all-white and all-black combination. Two of the sets also have an appealing orange jersey with them.
That said, Bengals.com senior writer Geoff Hobson caught up with several of the players and got their opinion on what they’ll be wearing this upcoming season, one in which the Bengals will have sky-high expectations.
“Unbelievable. They’re futuristic. A new glow for the new us,” star wide receiver Tyler Boyd said.
This unveiling is what will take the Bengals into their new generation of talent.
“The guys that are here are the kind of people that are going to take this organization to where we want to go. Along with Zac (Taylor) and ownership. I think we’re the future. I think it’s going to be a fun ride,” Burrow said.
As for the jerseys, star running back Joe Mixon is also a fan.
“They’re fire. That means they’re fresh. I love the font. My favorite thing is the signature on the back,” Mixon continued with.
Sam Hubbard, Jessie Bates, and DJ Reader were among the players to comment favorably on the jersey as well.
“I guess, yeah, COVID made the decision for us, but we weren’t looking to do that anyway. We wanted to do something new that people hadn’t seen before,” the Bengals director of content Seth Tanner said.
It’s all love for the new sets in the Queen City, and they should be a big-time hit now that you can purchase them at the team store.
