All offseason, the debate has been between Ja’Marr Chase and Penei Sewell as the Cincinnati Bengals’ fifth-overall pick.
We also can’t discount the importance of the Bengals’ pick in Round 2. The options available, if the Bengals take Chase, could be guys like Alex Leatherwood, Sam Cosmi and Dillon Radunz among others.
However, the options at wide receiver are much less clear. After a good group of top options that are likely to go in the first round, the remaining options are mostly slot receiver types, which the Bengals already have with Tyler Boyd.
One of the few guys they could go with though is North Carolina receiver Dyami Brown. Brown played the last two seasons with the excellent QB Sam Howell and was his deep threat while there.
While he may not be a first-round guy, Brown is one of the best players the Bengals could pair with a Penei Sewell pick in the first round.
