Day 3 Mock Draft Roundup: Bengals strengthen the trenches

The Cincinnati Bengals are heading into the third day of the 2021 NFL draft.

They have already filled in some gaps in the first three rounds. A deep threat in Ja’Marr Chase was taken at pick five, and help in the trenches was added in offensive lineman Jackson Carman, and edge rusher Joseph Ossai.

The third day is where the Bengals have picked up some legends, like T.J. Houshmandzadeh and Geno Atkins.

The Bengals traded back in the second for Carman, so they have some extra picks on Day 3. In rounds four through seven, they have a total of seven picks. This will be a great opportunity for the Bengals to pick up some depth along both sides of the ball.

Two names that came up several times were IOL Drew Dalman from Stanford and IDL Tyler Shelvin from LSU. Kenneth Gainwell, a RB from Memphis, also kept appearing.
