The dates and times of the Cincinnati Bengals’ 2021 preseason schedule have been set.
The following week, Cincinnati is back on the road to face the Washington Football Team at 8 pm ET on Friday, August 20th.
Cincinnati’s third and final preseason game is a home clash with the Miami Dolphins at 4 pm ET Sunday, August 29th. That game will be broadcast nationally on CBS.
Cincinnati Bengals Preseason Schedule 2021
- Week 1: @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 7:30 pm ET on Bengals Preseason TV Network
- Week 2: @ Washington Football Team, 8 pm ET on Bengals Preseason TV Network
- Week 3: vs. Miami Dolphins, August 29th, 4 pm ET on CBS
Preseason games can be streamed live through the NFL and NFL Network apps on smartphones, tablets, PCs and connected devices (Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, Roku, Android TV, Xbox One and more). Replays can be seen on NFL Game Pass and on the NFL Network (check local listings).
Though it’s the preseason, all three games will come against quality opponents. The Bucs are the reigning Super Bowl champions, and Washington nearly beat them in the postseason. Washington was the last team Joe Burrow faced last year before he was injured against them in Week 11. It’s unlikely that Burrow plays in either game.
Miami is the only home contest the Bengals have before the regular season. They have nine regular season home games, so fans will still have 10 opportunities to see the team in Paul Brown Stadium.
If starters play for all three opponents, then the Bengals defense could get a shot at quarterbacks Tom Brady, Ryan Fitzpatrick and Tua Tagovailoa.
This will also be the first preseason since 2000 that the Bengals will not play the Indianapolis Colts. The two teams have traditionally faced each other to close out the preseason, but the game was not scheduled in the new three-week format. Due to the fact that there was no preseason last year, the two teams haven’t played a preseason game against each other since 2019.
