Day one of OTAs for the Cincinnati Bengals is in the books, and Joe Burrow is looking like someone who should be “all systems go” for the season opener.

Burrow and the entire roster was reportedly present for the first voluntary organized practice of the 2021 offseason. This was the expectation going into this week after a team meeting led by free safety Jessie Bates III ensured everyone was on the same page.

Honestly, if Burrow was going to be out there putting in work, it seemed like the 83 other players would follow. That’s the Burrow effect.

After practice, Burrow talked with media and said his left knee is at “80-85 percent” and is not ruling out playing in the preseason, though he knows he wouldn’t play very much.

We’re still a little over two months away from that decision being made, but it’s a testament to Burrow’s progress and where he is now.

He also said he stayed after practice to get some extra reps with wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase.

That was at the end of practice, but let’s rewind to the beginning for a little Twitter roundup.
