After three weeks of voluntary OTAs, the Cincinnati Bengals today began and ended mandatory minicamp inside Paul Brown Stadium. This was the team’s last practice until training camp starts next month. In his post-practice press conference, Head coach Zac Taylor said he cancelled practices scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday of this week.

Injuries are already starting to pick up around the league, and the Bengals had been fortunate thus far. The team saw nearly every single player participate during Tuesday’s practice with the exception of second-year offensive lineman Hakeem Adeniji, who also did not practice last week either.

Taylor announced after practice that Adeniji had surgery to repair a recently-torn pectoral. Adeniji will likely be out for the season.

Other previously injured Bengals players have been given increased workload. Joe Burrow has now been seen doing rollouts and bootlegs, and D.J. Reader is now taking part in defensive drills with teammates.

The Bengals will enter their Summer vacation before returning to the facilities for the start of camp. Local media was there for today’s practice, so let’s see what went down inside PBS.
