The Cincinnati Bengals still plan of having Joe Burrow available for the start of the 2021-22 season as he continues his recovery from last season’s injury.
On Tuesday, video emerged of Burrow rolling out and throwing on the run during the Bengals’ OTAs.
Despite having reconstruction surgery on his left knee in December, Dr. David J. Chao took to Twitter to express optimism that Burrow will be ready to go when week 1 rolls around.
“Burrow’s left knee progressing well in this video,” Chao tweeted in response to our clips of Burrow. “Not 100% and has slight hitch, but still projects to be ready for Bengals Week 1 as I have opined all along despite ACL/MCL and patella issue.”

This is nothing but great news for Burrow and the Bengals as Burrow has looked impressive so far in preseason practice.
The Bengals are set to begin the 2021-22 season on Sunday, September 12th against the Minnesota Vikings.
