It is every Cincinnati Bengals’ fan dream to finally watch this franchise end the season at the top of the mountain by bringing the Lombardi Trophy to Cincinnati for the first time ever. Cincinnati’s veteran tight end, C.J. Uzomah, took some time out to talk about how he wants that celebration to play out.
“Take a look at the Bucs last year,” Uzomah told reporters. “Tom Brady absolutely just hammered, having a great time with his boys [during Super Bowl parade]. I want that to happen. I want to see Joe Burrow absolutely hammered wherever we are, and just feeding him more drinks. That’s the dream. That’s why I play to win and have a good time with the boys. I want TB (Tyler Boyd) to be holding a bottle of Henney, like J.R. Smith with the Cavs, with his shirt off the entire offseason. That’s what I want.
“I want a bottle of champagne and just bust it open and just start spraying every one with it,” Uzomah continued. “That’s something you dream of as a little kid, and it’s something I still aspire to and that’s what we’re working for.”
It is obvious that the Bengals have a ways to go to get to that point after still ending up with a top five pick in the draft. However, this kind of energy is what this team needs to get to that point. It is obvious that Uzomah loves this team and is all in on the players put in place to make that happen.
Uzomah was quick to get things straight on twitter later though.
After catching some heat this morning for this video from some people in and around the facility, I realize my mistake and will not be saying something like this again...without mentioning wanting to see the coaches, equipment, and medical staff join in our drinking festivities https://t.co/saOwrMpPbh

Can never forget to thank “the little people” during a celebration.
In all seriousness, with Joe Burrow at the helm it feels like the best shot this franchise has had in quite sometime to reverse the fortune of this franchise. This won’t be what same fans like to hear, but after listening to an offseason’s worth of cookie-cutter answers, it is just refreshing to hear a player be so candid and excited about the teams direction.
Also not mentioning Burrow and the whole team getting a photo lighting up a cigar with the trophy is a must add to the celebration.
