The Cincinnati Bengals have signed free agent wide receiver Reece Horn.
Horn, who first entered the NFL out of the University of Indianapolis five years ago, has yet to appear in a regular season game. He was signed as a college free agent by the Tennessee Titans in 2016. After getting cut by the Titans before the 2016 season, Horn signed with the Milano Seamen of the Italian Football League in 2017. He stayed overseas in 2018 as a member of the Vienna Vikings.
In 2019, Horn returned to the states and played in the AAF’s lone season for the Memphis Express, recording 429 yards and a touchdown on 28 receptions. Afterwards, Horn spent the offseason with the Miami Dolphins, but was released before the regular season. In 2020, Horn was drafted by the XFL’s Tampa Bay Vipers before the league folded later that year. He racked up 240 yards and a touchdown on 27 receptions during his five-game run with the Vipers. That was the last time he appeared in a professional football game.
It would be unlikely to see Horn finally break through to the regular season this year, but with Riley Lees currently on the Active/Physically Unable to Perform list, he’ll get some snaps in training camp.
The signing of Horn puts the Bengals at 87 rostered players.
