The Cincinnati Bengals and Minnesota Vikings have announced their inactives for today’s matchup.
Bengals Inactives
- CB Trae Waynes
- DT Tyler Shelvin
- CB Nick McCloud
- OL D’Ante Smith
- OT Fred Johnson
Vikings Inactives
- LB Anthony Barr
- OT Christian Darrisaw
- QB Kellen Mond
- CB Cameron Dantzler
- TE Ben Ellefson
- DT James Lynch
- DE Patrick Jones II
The most notable players out are Bengals cornerback Trae Waynes (hamstring) and Vikings linebacker Anthony Barr (knee). Both players were ruled out Friday, so their spots on the inactives list were already penciled in. The only other player out due to injury is Vikings backup tackle Christian Darrisaw (groin), so every other inactive player today is a healthy scratch.
The surprise of the day is Isaiah Prince being active while Fred Johnson is inactive. Prince, who opted out of the 2020 season for COVID-19 precautions, has played just 70 regular-season snaps in his career, all of which came with the Miami Dolphins during the 2019 season.
Most assumed Johnson would be the first tackle off the bench, but Prince earned that nod for at least Week 1.
