So much for those preseason jitters for Ja’Marr Chase.
After dropping just about every pass thrown his way across three tune-up games, Chase has looked like the star many thought he’d become thus far in the Cincinnati Bengals’ Week 1 clash with the Minnesota Vikings.
It began with Chase hauling in his first two targets for 30 yards late in the second quarter, which helped the Bengals score a touchdown on a pass from Joe Burrow to Tee Higgins, tying the game at 7-all.
But Chase saved his best for the last drive of half No. 1, hauling in a 50-yard scoring grab with 35 seconds left to put the good guys ahead 14-7. He’s now 3/3 on his targets today for 80 yards and a score with zero drops, but don’t like Mike Florio know that.
.@Real10jayy__ saw that ball and took it to the HOUSE.
