The Late Shift has the Tiger by the Tail

Burrow looked good returning from injury on Sunday against the Vikes. I loved his touch on the deep pass, his zip and accuracy on the crossing routes, and he even showcased some of his old trademark escapability.

Of course our young QB has shown tremendous poise beyond his years, but the two worst sacks he took were when the defense made very late shifts, with Joe looking confused and lost. I believe both were also play action, so his initial focus was on turning for the fake and as his eyes returned downfield he was obviously thrown off by the pressure/coverage combinations.

He'll live and learn most likely. The O-line played much better than last year, I thought, particularly in the run but pass-pro as well. One sack was also Uzomah running sideways through the pocket looking confused and pinballing around haphazardly.
