The Cincinnati Bengals have signed center Lamont Gaillard to the practice squad. He replaces the spot vacated by running back Jacques Patrick, who was just signed to the San Francisco 49ers’ 53-man roster.

Gaillard, weighing in at 6-foot-3 and 305 pounds, is a third-year player by way of the Georgia Bulldogs who originally was a sixth-round pick of the Arizona Cardinals in 2019. He spent each of his first two seasons with Arizona and played in 13 games (two starts). He was with the Bengals in training camp this year before being waived on Aug. 22.

We could see Gaillard promoted to the gameday roster this week with Xavier Su’a-Filo potentially sidelined with a leg injury.

The Bengals’ practice squad, which can be seen below, is now full with 16 players signed to it.
