The Bengals got some doses of good news and bad news leading up to Thursday’s practice.

On the positive side, Trae Waynes (hamstring) practiced in the regular season for the first time since joining the team 18 months ago. Waynes was fully padded on Thuraday, but the team listed him as a limited participant. Assuming no further setbacks, he should be either limited or a full participant for Friday.

Josh Tupou returned to practice after missing Wednesday for personal reasons. Darius also went full after a rest day. Larry Ogunjobi (groin) was limited again.

On offense, the team may have to prepare for no Tee Higgins (shoulder) or Xavier Su’a-Filo (knee), as neither practiced again on Thursday, It’s possible they return on Friday, but unless they go full, they’re likely to be listed as questionable or doubtful for Sunday.

The Steelers’ injury report features many changes from Wednesday. Ben Roethlisberger (pectoral) went limited after missing yesterday. Joe Haden (groin) was a full participant after being limited as well. Eric Ebron also returned after being held out of Wednesday’s practice.

T.J. Watt (groin) remained limited and Devin Bush (groin) practiced in full again for the second-straight day. Dionte Johnson (knee), Alex Highsmith (groin), Carlos Davis (knee), and Justin Layne (achilles) remain out of practice. Marcus Allen (abdomen) is a new addition to the injury report after practicing Wednesday.
