Bengals fans on Twitter gave a nice kiss goodbye to the Steelers’ dominance.

The Cincinnati Bengals now have a two-game winning streak against the Pittsburgh Steelers. This was also the first time the Bengals have won a game in Pittsburgh since the 2015 season.

This seemed like a turning point for these franchises that are appearing to head in different directions. The win was led by some very young Bengals stepping up big time while the major contributors of the Steelers looked too long in the tooth to overcome 17-unanswered points.

Logan Wilson makes his presence felt

There was still a minority of fans in Cincinnati frustrated that the team didn’t add a veteran linebacker to bolster this defense. What the team did instead was trust what they had in second-year linebacker Wilson.

He had an interception and a missed scoop-and-score last week. Wilson followed that up with two interceptions against Ben Roethlisberger that led directly to two touchdowns on the day.

Joe Burrow gets cooking with Ja’Marr Chase

Burrow had a rough outing against the Chicago Bears last week where he threw three-straight interceptions on three-straight passes before almost digging the Bengals back into a win.

He didn’t wait that long to get things going as he threw an early touchdown, with a great effort by Tyler Boyd. He followed that up with a beauty of a deep ball to Chase right before the half. Then the college teammates connected again to put the nail in the coffin for the Steelers. The rookie wide receiver has come a long way from everyone thinking he couldn’t catch.

Best burns

Listen, this week Bengals fans absolutely let the Steelers have it. This felt like a much more meaningful game than the Monday Night Football upset, and Cincinnati fans have been the butt of every joke for just about fives seasons as Pittsburgh has dominated the Bengals.

That led to many of Twitters’ funniest Bengals fans absolutely roasting the Steelers and the national media/criticism.

You love to see it.
