Just when the Cincinnati Bengals’ defense is rising, they get another boost.
Cornerback Trae Waynes, who signed a three year, $42 million deal with the team in the 2020 offseason but missed the entire year with a pectoral injury, will make his Bengals debut tomorrow, just in time for Joe Burrow’s faceoff with Trevor Lawrence and the Jacksonville Jaguars.
CB Trae Waynes (hamstring) was a full participant at today's walkthrough as he should make his Bengals debut tomorrow night in primetime.

Of course, the short week didn’t help the team when it comes to receiver Tee Higgins (shoulder) and safety Jessie Bates (neck), both of whom will miss the game.
That means that Bates’ streak of 51 straight games started to begin his career will come to an end. He ends up with the sixth-such start in franchise history.
With Jessie Bates being declared OUT vs Jacksonville his 51 consecutive start streak to begin his Bengals career will come to an end. 51 straight starts is the 6th most:
