A few days after proving everyone to be fools, the Cincinnati Bengals are back in favor with the oddsmakers. Their 2-1 record has them tied at the top of the AFC North. For their lone primetime matchup on the schedule, they get the chance to play the winless Jacksonville Jaguars in front of what appears to be a large Paul Brown Stadium crowd.
Odds
The Bengals are currently 7.5-point favorites over the Jaguars, according to DraftKings Sportsbook, which is the same as the opening spread. Being 2-1 and playing at home against a struggling 0-3 Jaguars team, this should not come as a surprise.
Urban Meyer is still searching for his first win, let alone his first win on the road. Vegas isn’t going to predict many close games for Jacksonville until they show major improvement.
The over/under is also set at 46, which is normal for Thursday night matchups. Cincinnati’s defense is playing really well right now, but their offense has been inconsistent.
