Near the end of the Titans game, it was called out by the announcers that Burrow had no quick options to go to when he was being bombarded with the pass rush. I've noticed this quite a bit this year.
I think the playbook needs a bit of tweaking because of this. At LSU, Burrow could always audible into something that could give him an immediate option if he knew he had no time, but that doesn't seem to be the case in this offense.
I don't know if it's this playbook in general or just what Zac Taylor is calling.
Trent Irwin seems like he would be a good fit at this, as he is probably one of the more "twitchy" wide receivers on the roster. He could play more of the Julian Edelman role the Patriots utilized.
